Imam Ali proclaims Surat al-Bara’a

In 9 AH the Prophet took the proclamation of the opening of Surat al-Tawba from Abu Bakr and gave it to Imam Ali, saying, “None conveys this for me but me or a man from me.” The Imam read it at Mina on the Day of Sacrifice.
