Conquest of Khaybar by Imam Ali

The forts of Khaybar fell in 7 AH. After others failed, the Prophet said, “Tomorrow I will give the banner to a man who loves God and His Messenger and whom they love,” and gave it to Imam Ali, who tore off the fortress gate.
